Dear Friends

I am very excited and inspired!  We recently completed the Living Essence Training here in Grass Valley, which was the first time I offered the training in its new format.  Previously we had focused more on longer processes, which are described in my first book Relaxing into Clear Seeing.  However, in recent years I have not being doing those kind of longer sessions with people myself, I have relied more on immediate shifts into radical awakening, through paying close attention to what is real in this very moment, now.

Here is what I have noticed in the last five or six years:  People are waking up to their true nature as spacious presence more and more easily, more and more rapidly, and in greater and greater numbers.  Who knows why this is so?  Perhaps as the prospect looms more vividly that we cannot sustain business as usual any longer, the dream of separation becomes less comfortable, and the reality beyond separation becomes more compelling.

In this recent training I held nothing back.  I shared with the participants how to facilitate awakening in exactly the same way that I work with people.  I was inspired and delighted to find that every single one of the people there was able to initiate the same shift into awakening with others that I have been creating in groups and one on one.  They were all able to facilitate the release of deeply held energetic blocks which inhibit presence.  And they were all able to tune into others in the training and to feel the right practices to bring forth the deepest gifts waiting to be shared from within that person.

Chameli and I will be leading a Deeper Love intensive here in Nevada City from August 14-17.  We hope you will consider joining us.  In this three and a half day intensive we share with you the tools we have developed over the last six years to bring intimate relationship into total alignment with your hearts deepest realization and longing. In some ways translucence is just another way to describe a human being’s most natural state. This is how children live, with an open, playful, total involvement in life, free of concepts, glued to the present moment. But to sustain this way of living, awake to our unchanging nature but without resisting the natural flow of life, is to take a stand against a lifetime of habits. I am a psychologist, I am 66 years old.  My wife Antra and I specialize in doing couples therapy, we also specialize in teaching workshops for couples. We teach at Omega and Kripalu and Esalen. We work with couples who are in trouble and struggling.  We have taken many, many couples workshops before.  This was a long way for us, we had to fly from Boston to Florida. It was a big deal to arrange it. Of all the workshops we know about, this was the one we wanted to do, more than anything else. There is a depth of practice and depth of realization that Arjuna and Chameli both have that offers a very different perspective than workshops that are more psychologically oriented, are more oriented to learning a set of skills to improve the relationship, that are more problem solving oriented, or that are more emotionally oriented.

It was indeed an experience of deeper love.  The depth comes from a very full and fulfilling sense of connecting to what is innermost in each of us.  I could feel the depth of who we both are underneath our personalities, and stories, and fears, and habits of mind, and feel the deeper knowing, and deeper love, and deeper being that we are most truly.  To see that and share that with each other and celebrate that with each other was a profound experience.

Since we took the intensive a few months ago, there has been a deeper loving and a deeper knowing and confidence of that, that it is who we are truly, that is our true nature. That is much more palpable and present and available so that there is much more a sense of humor and even entertainment about all the other stuff that we can get caught up in. It is a lot easier to have access to that deeper loving to that deeper being which is who we really are.

What I really appreciate about this workshop and the whole approach is that they are putting first and foremost the awakened truth of who we all are. They trust and put their faith in the essential lovingness that everyone is. They connect on that level: a deeper level, a truer level, an authentic and essential level.

Many of the structures were very helpful to us.  I especially appreciate the passion and dedication that they both have to their own spiritual life and also the dedication and passion they have for sharing their realization with others. I can feel the generosity and the passion to offer this to other people who are on their own path.  There is a great dedication in the service to others, in a way I find very inspiring.  That was why we wanted to be with them and learn from them.

Keep your withholds short:
